Pandy Mill will be joining in this years “BVA Open Studios” .

BVA (Borderland Visual Arts) celebrates its 10th anniversary. This is an opportunity for the public to visit the studios of local contemporary artists; to view their work, chat to them, and to buy work if they wish. It is a chance to share interests, ask about techniques, or simply look – there are many beautiful gardens to see too. The event has been held since 2001, and recent years have seen more than 2000 studio visits over 4 days.

It will be held over two weekends - June 5/6th and 12/13th - and the studios will be open from 10.00am until 5.00pm daily, although many of the studios can also be viewed on other days. Full details are in our leaflet which can be picked up from Oswestry Library, Oswestry Visitor & Heritage Centre, and in shops around the locality displaying our poster. It is also available on-line at www.borderlandvisualarts.com.

This year promises to be the best yet with lots of artists participating. Half of the studios are in Oswestry town and the rest in the surrounding area, though none are more than 20 miles away. We are delighted to have sponsorship from Oswestry School who will be displaying their sexcentenary embroidered textile hanging during the event.
